The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards
Something spooky was brewing along the shores of Lake Keowee this past October, and just in time for Halloween. To celebrate the holiday, the Keowee Vineyards Member Services team knew they had to find an elevated way to blend traditional holiday elements with a novel twist, and thus the Killer Cruise aboard The Cliffs’ tritoon, the Magnificent 7, was born.
Taking off from the Keowee Vineyards Lakehouse, members, staff, and boat crew alike were dressed to the nines in Halloween costumes fit for the occasion. Fog, spooky music, black lights, and more awaited event attendees as they boarded the boat, where they were greeted with fresh cocktails, fun bites, and plentiful Halloween decor, including custom-made “Wanted” posters featuring various members of the Keowee Vineyards staff. The attendees mingled and showed off their costumes for each other while waiting for the cruise to begin.
Taking off around sunset, the Magnificent 7 glided along Lake Keowee, treating members to stunning golden views of the shoreline and its picturesque scenery as the cruise sailed on. Members connected with each other, enjoying the culinary offerings, and dancing along to the party’s music as the laughter-filled evening continued. Landing back at The Lakehouse once the moon had risen, the Killer Cruise proved a perfect way to spend the festive evening.
Events like these bring members of The Cliffs more closely together, as they share holidays and other cherished moments like these with each other. Always seeking opportunities to bring our community closer, we look forward to more events like these in the coming year to provide more opportunities for connection, camaraderie, and amusement for our members and their guests.
